LEDs of the air purifier

Upper, middle, lower light band.

  • 3x 470 lm = 1410 lm LED output (approx. 3x 40 W incandescent lamp) Colour temperature: 2700 K ... 6000 K (cold-white to warm-white)
  • 3 x LED light strips mounted to illuminate the room. For the optimal function of air purifier and luminaire

dp Lamp is mounted on the ceiling instead of the usual ceiling light.

Three different LED positions allow individual adjustment according to use. LEDs are located in the form of a ring light on the bottom and on the top of the unit. Six additional light surfaces have been added on the side.

All LEDs have the possibility to produce cold white or warm white light. The regulation of the light colour, which is also infinitely variable, allows the color temperature to be adapted to different spatial and temporal conditions.

While dp-Lamp air purification system can be switched on and off via normal light switch, an app on the mobile phone or tablet gives control over air purification and light.

Following features are controlled:
  • Speed of the fan and thus the amount of air-intake through the filter.
  • Brightness of the light bands, color temperature of the light bands as well as status of the internal UV-C lamp.
The app also provides status information, such as:
  • Air temperature
  • Air humidity
  • Air quality
  • Filter status

Use of UV-C lamps for filter surface disinfection

We use 4 x 15 mW UV-C LEDs with a wavelength of 270 ... 280 nm.
With sufficient radiation intensity and illumination duration, UV-C light destroys living organisms and viruses on the one hand, and on the other hand it also leads to the decomposition of volatile hydrocarbons. The UV-C lamps used in the enclosure have a comparatively low radiation intensity. Germs on the surfaces in the enclosure are eliminated by the long irradiation time.
Due to the special design of dp-Purifier, no UV-C light penetrates to the outside.
